This is a busy season for art shows. I am fortunately in several venues across the city and beyond.
My work Manhattan Canyons, NYC was selected by the jury for the International Art Exhibition at the Fredric Remington Museum in Ogdensburg, New York, USA. The show continues until January, 2016.
Arteast- Holiday Mix at the St Laurent Complex has two works Winter Sparkle and Autumn in the City, NYC. This show features small format works of 12″ square.
Promenade Arteast- at the Shenkman Arts Centre features the winners from the 2014 Arteast Juried Awards Exhibition. My work Uptown Park, NYC was a first prize winner last year and will be displayed until January, 2016
I have work at both campuses of the Ottawa School of Art for their Holiday Fund Raiser. all the works in the boutique have now been sold. But there are still a couple of replacements in the galleries. This is a very worthy cause. I had the honour and privilege to tutor cellist, Julian Armour for this fundraiser. Julian took time from his busy schedule to come to my studio to produce his mixed media piece The Agora Antique Store ( haunted??). He was accompanied by his son Francis who also produced a painting.
Ottawa Art Association at the Ottawa Little Theatre has its regular show of work by member artists. Costal Map- Coming to Canada is hung there.
